The newly-designed shroud in the RTX 3070 Turbo increases air intake for multi-card setups while maintaining a sleek footprint. Inside, a large blower fan spins on dual ball bearings to whisk copious volumes of air through the heatsink and out of the chassis, making the latest Turbo ideal for deployment in environments where airflow is restricted. The Turbo also features a new shroud designed to look clean while optimizing cooling on several fronts. Every edge has been carefully angled to continuously funnel fresh air to the 80mm blower fan, ensuring thermals remain under control. The mounting bracket of the Turbo has been beefed up with 304 Stainless Steel that’s harder and more resistant to corrosion. The ASUS RTX 3070 Turbo has a two-slot wide card and uses a dual 8-pin PCIe power connector, which is on the back of the card. It has a 5888 CUDA core and carries 8GB GDDR6 memory with a 256-bit bus. Further, the card sticks to NVIDIA-reference clock speeds of up to 1725 MHz GPU Boost, and memory running at 14Gbps. Further, there is a software-activated “OC Mode”, which can be used to push the GPU to 1755 MHz. The card measures 269 × 112 × 40 mm and is HDCP 2.3 compliant. In terms of display outputs, it includes three DisplayPort 1.4a, and one HDMI 2.1 connector and accommodates up to four monitors. It is recommended to use a power supply unit (PSU) with a capacity of at least 750W for the GeForce RTX 3070. Currently, there is no information on the price and availability of the ASUS RTX 3070 Turbo.
