According to the benchmark listing, Nokia’s upcoming tablet will feature an 18.4” display with Quad HD (2560 x 1440) resolution that results in a pixel density of 160 pixels per inch. The Nokia tablet will be powered by a Snapdragon 835 processor running at 2.2GHz and will have Adreno 540 GPU. In terms of memory, it will include 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. On the imaging front, the rear camera will have 12MP primary camera at the back that can record 4K videos. Also, the front-facing camera will be 12MP, which too can record videos of 4K resolution. The rumored tablet will be loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. Also, it appears that the software is being developed by FIH Mobile, a Foxconn subsidiary. In addition to the 4G LTE connectivity, the upcoming Nokia tablet will be equipped with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and NFC. The Nokia 18.4-inch tablet could possibly be announced next month at the Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona, where HMD Global will be announcing the first Nokia-branded Android devices meant for the global market. The company has already unveiled the Nokia 6 recently, meant for the Chinese market exclusively. There’s no mention of pricing and availability but being on the benchmarking site. It is not the first time we are looking at a Nokia tablet leak, as there were earlier rumours about Nokia D1C being a tablet with a 13-inch display. Therefore, you should only accept these surfaced specifications with a pinch of salt.
