Two years ago, during the month of September, hackers had systematically targetted iCloud accounts of Hollywood stars and leaked their private explicit images and videos on image boarding websites in tranches. The entire episode was named a Fappening by users of image boarding site, 4Chan where these images were first leaked. The media preferred to call the entire episode as more politically correct Celebgate. While the Fappening hacker has been caught and sentenced but a Fappening leak victim’s iCloud account has been hacked again and the hackers have leaked her private and explicit images online. The celebrity is supermodel Emily Ratajkowski. Born to American parents in London and raised primarily in California, Emily rose to prominence in 2013 after appearing in the music video for Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines”, which became the number one song of the year in several countries and attracted controversy over its purportedly sexist content.
Emily’s iCloud hacked
Unknown hackers targetted Emily’s iCloud account and stole as many as 200 private and intimate photographs stolen in a new online attack reminiscent of the shocking attack Jennifer Lawrence and numerous other celebrities endured during Fappening in 2014. ‘Turns out, it was a link to Emily Ratajkowski’s iCloud pictures. This clown had inboxed me and asked that I release the full set of naked images in my column,’ she continued. Emily heard about the hacking news when as she touched down in Los Angeles, California. If she was upset and stressed about someone allegedly leaking 200 private naked snaps, the 25-year-old was not showing it as she headed to her waiting car at LAX. The images leaked by hackers show the actress pose in various states of undress in multiple photo shoots. However, her agent claimed that the images leaked by hackers were from the earlier Fappening hack that was leaked in 2015 rather than another hack.
